This provides an environment based activity that would engage the community with nature and their surroundings. The inclusion of environmental art would inform planting strategies in order to complete the cycle of growing, harvesting and making within the site.

The arches could be renovated and included as part of the new design. The arches could be used for community growing, cafes and shops that will provide a central plaza for the community.

Wyck Gardens is vital green space within the dense urban context of Loughborough Junction, Brixton. The design aims to provide a green space that will provide a a new social centre that will unite the community of the area with the future aim to reduce the level of crime.
The Design will build upon the areas exsisting commuity hubs of Loughborough Farm and Ebony Riding Centre through the creation of an urban agricultural landscape. The concept will mirror and translate the forms, program and structure of an agricultural landscape and tailor it to the urban setting of Wyck Gardens, iniating the community use of the space.
This project is currently undergoing the detailed design stages of development, however, above illustrates the initial visualisations into the sites potential program and function.
