This project involved the design and construction detailing for an educational garden on the border of an agricultural resevoir at Writtle College. The design was to link with the proposed new information building and had to fit with the topography and style of the site as shown in the adjacent images. With a specific focus on the construction of landscapes the new design had to be all weather access, use natural materials and terraced to allow the inclusion of retaining structures, steps and ramps.

The project covered the key elements of construction including: site grading and levels, cut and fill, hard landscape plan, construction details, setting out plan and a planting plan and schedule. These can be seen in the various links below.
