Above illustrates the garden design of a family home in Ethledore Avenue, Essex. The project aimed to showcse the use of 3D Auto CAD and 3D Studio Max as a modelling and rendering tool. The design used change in levels, planting and garden structures to overcome the varying topography within the garden.
An initial 2D Auto CAD plan was produced from which a detailed 3D model was produced as shown in the images above. The model was later imported to 3D Studio Max and various material renders applied. This allowed a realistic walkthrough of the landscape as shown in the adjacent animation. A number of other still day and night graphics were also rendered and populated with the use of photoshop to enhance colours, add people and activity to the space.
